What is Autism?
Autism Spectrum Disorder is classified as a lifelong developmental disorder. The term ‘spectrum’ is what we use to identify the range of difficulties and experiences that each individual with Autism may have. When diagnosed at an early age, children with Autism, can access early intervention services to support and enhance their communication, social and community skills.

Does my child have Autism?
Complete this checklist attached on Detecting Autism Early.  To further assess if your child has Autism, you will need to see a Paediatrician or Psychologist. Your GP or Allied Health Professional can refer you to the best suited Paediatrician.
