Principal Speech Pathologist
Sally graduated from the University of Sydney in 2012. Sally is passionate about helping children reach their best potential. She has a special interest in children with Autism, Global Developmental Delay, Attention Deficit and Speech Delay. Sally has found her purpose in life and that involves showering others with care and love, even in the trickiest of times. Sally has been in the private practice field for almost a decade. She wants to be proactive in the community and provide help wherever it’s needed. She is also passionate about providing speech pathology workshops and supports to families in Egypt, her home country. Outside of work, Sally enjoys organising and reorganising, making jam for her friends and family, going on 1:1 coffee dates and sewing. Sally is married to her wonderful husband, Ash. They met at the age of 15 and have been together for over 15 years. Together they are proactive about enriching the lives of others by sharing knowledge and setting a positive example. They believe that making a difference in the world starts with your neighbour. Sally has completed the following workshops:

Speech Pathologist
Clinical Educator, Senior Speech Pathologist Languages: English, Mandarin and Cantonese Dorothy graduated with First Class Honours from The University of Sydney. Dorothy enjoys working with people of all ages and her warm and caring nature prioritises connecting with clients and families. She believes that getting to know each person as an individual is crucial to understanding how to tailor therapy to ensure meaningful and functional outcomes. Dorothy has a special interest in the areas of autism, early intervention, and stuttering. She has undergone further training and completed workshops to better support her families and is a Hanen-certified therapist. She also enjoys presenting to other professionals and the general public on early play and language development. When not in the clinic, you might find her spending time with her friends and family, trying new cuisines, or with her nose buried in a book!

Clinical Educator, Senior Speech Pathologist “Communication is the root to human connection”. Languages: English and Arabic Sarah graduated from the University of Sydney in 2019. Sarah is a strong believer in family- centred practice and empowering families by providing them with strategies to help their child reach their communicative potential. Sarah is passionate about all aspects of Speech Pathology but has a particular interest in working with individuals with Autism, school aged language and literacy difficulties and post-stroke clients. Sarah enjoys hanging out with her friends and trying out new cafes. She also enjoys playing the piano.

Speech Pathologist
‘Everyone deserves a voice’ Languages: English and Arabic Shirley graduated from the University of Sydney with Masters of Speech and Language Pathology in 2019. She also has a Bachelor of Speech, Hearing and Language Sciences, Macquarie University in 2017. Shirley enjoys working with clients of all ages; however, she has a special interest in child hearing loss and Autism. Shirley has a pet turtle named Franklin whom she loves showing off. On her breaks, you will catch her hiding in the kitchen with her coffee in one hand and chocolate or cheese in the other hand. Shirley played the trumpet for 9 years and enjoys singing. She likes to incorporate her musical background into her therapy sessions, especially with younger children.

Ariana graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor of Speech, Hearing and Language Sciences and a Masters of Speech and Language Pathology from Macquarie University. Ariana has a passion for working with children to help them succeed in their own ways, and helping them achieve their goals while having fun! Ariana is passionate about getting to know each person, their interests, and their family to create meaningful connections and a personalised experience for each new person that steps into the clinic, and believes this is the best way to help them achieve their goals. Ariana is interested in all areas of speech pathology, though has a particular interest in working with people with speech sound difficulties, language and literacy skill difficulties, and stuttering. She has completed the ‘Speak Out!’ Program. You will likely find Ariana reading on her days off, or binge-watching a new Netflix docu-series! She also enjoys seeing her friends and trying as many new restaurants as she can. |

Rachana graduated from the University of Sydney in 2024 with a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Speech Pathology. Rachana believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to communicate effectively and express their thoughts, feelings, and needs. She is passionate about helping individuals connect with others through meaningful communication. Rachana is dedicated to understanding each client's unique needs and interests, ensuring that therapy is both personalized and enjoyable. Rachana has a particular interest in speech sounds, literacy, and language development. Outside the clinic, she enjoys painting, going on walks and exploring new restaurants. |

Languages: English, Maltese, and Italian Alana graduated from Macquarie University with Masters of Speech and Language Pathology in 2020. She also has a Bachelor of Speech, Hearing and Language Sciences, Macquarie University in 2017. Alana has a special interest in Speech Sound Disorders, Language Therapy and using AAC technology. Outside the office, Alana enjoys exploring new food places, going out with her family, and going on holidays with them. She also enjoys colouring and baking. |

Clinical Educator, Senior Speech Pathologist Languages: English, Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu Jaspreet (also known as Jas) is one of our Speech Pathologists! She graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Applied Sciences, majoring in Speech Pathology from the University of Sydney. Jaspreet is passionate about working with people of all and focuses her passion of helping others by working with children. Jaspreet takes pride in getting to know each person and tailoring the therapy to their interests, so they can achieve their goals with a big smile! Jaspreet has a passion for speech sounds, literacy skills, early language and aphasia. She has also worked with assistive communication devices. Languages: English, Filipino Clarence graduated from Macquarie University with Masters of Speech and Language Pathology in 2024. She also has a Bachelor of Speech, Hearing and Language Sciences, Macquarie University in 2022. Clarence has a special interest in Speech Sound Disorders and Language Therapy in both children and adults. Outside the office, Clarence enjoys spending her free time with her family and loved ones. She also loves trying out new things such as pottery and painting. |

Languages: English, Chaldean and Arabic Mariam graduated from Macquarie University with a Master of Speech and Language Pathology in 2024. In 2022, Mariam completed her Bachelor of Speech, Hearing and Language Sciences. Mariam is passionate about providing client and family centred care through the provision of intervention strategies that best support the unique needs of each person. Mariam also prioritises personalised care through the collaboration of the clients multidisciplinary team to ensure interventions are holistic and comprehensive, fostering development in various environments and settings. Mariam has a special interest for literacy interventions, stuttering, speech sounds, AAC and early language development. Outside of the clinic, she finds joy in activities like Pilates, outdoor adventures, travelling and cherished moments with her family. |
Client Care Manager
Elaine is one of the friendly faces you will see and chat to, when you first walk in. Without her, our timetables would be out of whack! Elaine worked as bank officer for 8 years before she became a full-time mum to four beautiful kids. A SUPERMUM! Elaine loves spending time with her family and reading inspirational and spiritual books. She enjoys listening to stories and experiences of people from all walks of life. After 12 years of being a stay-at-home-mum, she is very grateful to now be working as part of the awesome team in Your Speech Room whom are collectively making a difference in the lives of families and the community. Elaine is passionate about helping people in every way and just simply making them feel welcome from the very start. She is looking forward to meeting you and assisting you with your needs! |
Administrative Officer
Ziairina (also known as Zee) is our organisation whizz! She is responsible for organising your appointments, and takes pride in ensuring that our files and info are in tip-top shape! She also loves to ensure you are warmly welcomed into our clinic. You may have also heard her voice over the phone and spotted her small paragraphs on our instagram posts. Ziairina has a deep passion in hearing stories and serving others. She is more than happy to help anyone in any way she can. Whether it's a shoulder to lean on, an ear to listen, or a helping hand, find her and she will be there! You will find her in the reception of our clinic, or in the staff room making herself or our team some tea! Ziairina studied audio engineering as her undergraduate degree and worked as a board operating engineer and barista for a couple of years before shifting careers. Now she is currently undergoing her post-graduate degree striving towards becoming a Speech Pathologist! Ziairina also enjoys quality time with her family and cuddling with her dog, Mango. If you catch her on her day off, you'll most likely find her studying in a cafe or lying on the sand at the beach with a book and some chill music. |

Ashley is administration queen, she is our paperwork organiser and a super talented resource maker! Ashley is super creative and a multi-tasker. She balances three different jobs whilst also making time for her friends and family. Ashley enjoys helping in anyway possible, she is a great listener and skilful icebreaker. Ashley enjoys singing, baking and craft. Family feasting is her favourite family activity. |

Courtney is passionate about helping others communicate and is currently studying to become a speech pathologist. When she's not answering the phones, you'll find Courtney enjoying quality time with her friends and family, binging the latest Netflix series or creating fun videos. |
